The triangular bandage (arm sling) is a universal aid for stabilizing arm and hand injuries. Its primary function is to immobilize arm injuries or fractures, as well as hand injuries or fractures. Furthermore, it can be used to secure other dressings and allows for quick creation of a sling in case of arm injuries.

• The triangular bandage is not isosceles and right-angled.
